The twenty-first century is being defined by the intensifying rivalry between the United States and China, a competition that extends well beyond the realm of traditional geopolitics and is increasingly manifested in the domain of geoeconomics. The world’s two largest economies coexist in a complex relationship of interdependence and confrontation. While China seeks to consolidate its global influence through economic, technological, and cultural , the United States responds by recalibrating its position in the international order.
